I disagree, but that is a debate for another thread.....But because I don't really want to debate and I think I've mentioned these feelings a time or two before ...........

    BSG (2004)
SEASON ONE (Might be the best Season One of all time.)
SEASON TWO (Okay, but starting to...

Yeah I don't know if I agree from the standpoint that it seems like a more interesting challenge to make something new that fits into the old. Something that has direct connection, but also stands on its own. THE MANDALORIAN has some loose connections, but it also has firm ones as well. My thinking...

  • WOW BLAKE!!!!!! Maximum effort. Still can't decide if it is a good or bad thing that I don't understand any of these updates. On the one hand I find the concept terribly interesting. ON the other hand I don't have enough time to spend on the hobbies I already have let alone pick up a new and clearly...

Yes there is an entire Universe that could be explored off, or even on, Babylon 5 that wouldn't have to involve the main cast. They could build an entire series around stories happening within the same timeframe that don't necessarily involve the main cast, but are effected by the original main arc....

WOW!!!!! I didn't even think about it in those terms. Uggggh shortened season seems soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong, unless the seasons are only three months apart.

But yeah weird how my brain didn't even and can't even think about a season of B5 only being ten to twelve episodes,...

Yeah I've attended most of the events and I might have to forget about it if that is going to be the case. Financially it really isn't an issue because I pay as much for an event as I would for the subscription, but she doesn't have an event every month and I don't want to feel financially obligated...

replied to Favourite Babylon 5 Story Arc?
Two I would also add would be Lyta and Bester.

Lyta spends most of the series being used intentionally and unintentionally by everyone. Motives aside one of the more interesting arcs of the series is how people get her to help them through manipulation. Often good intentions leave her...

    IF YOU BUILD IT....

IMDB Synopsis: Jack, Henry, and the rest of the GD team try to figure out why teenagers are building towers out of junk, the signal moves closer faster, and Fargo's old car doesn't like being dumped.

replied to Did the Narn subjugate other races?
So I tried reading some of the "non canon" novels back in the 90s and as I recall one of the main reasons I stopped was the author's handling of Narn. I don't mean the people, but the planet itself. This would have been during Season 3 or 4 and we had already been given visual references...

replied to Why Isn't There More B5 Merch??
Going back you what you originally said Delenn_of_Mir, I think the key difference is JMS. I'm not guaranteeing success here, but I also don't see him pulling a George Lucas on us. From what I've read, JMS has no great desires to reset several self-perceived wrongs in the Babylon 5 Universe. The question...
