  • Date wackiness

Well, either a space-time error has opened up due to a plothole, tossing us all 16 years into the future.... or the date on your server somehow got screwed up dude. Most boards won't show messages because it thinks it's been too long since they've been posted. Quick thing to change "60 days" to "the beginning" on the view options, but it will get annoying.

Thanks for reporting the problem. I hope everything is back to normal now. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

Well I just posted on the "B5 Will Go On" thread (why does that make me think of Celine Dion?) and it seems that theres some wackiness with a couple of the posts. Is this left over from the time problem you mentioned at the top of this thread?

One problems that persists is that messages that were stamped with the 2019 date will always be sorted at the end of the thread because the board thinks they are the newest. Are you seeing any problems beyond that?

I could either 1) leave the 2019 messages alone, 2) delete them, or 3) attempt to change the date in the database. I'm not sure which is the best solution...

I would go with option #3. I had my husband make a script for me to update the post date on my forum. Not sure it would work for you but all you need is a way to edit the DB right?

I agree. There aren't so many 2019-posts, so it shouldn't take very long, right?

It should be fixed now. It wasn't so much the time to issue the SQL update commands as to examine and understand the database schema. Editing a product's database directly always carries certain risks.

Let me know if any further date wackiness is observed.
