  • Forum cutting off posts...

When posting replies to threads, the forum seems to be removing 90% of my post, often leaving only the first 5 ot so words. I've had the same issue with PM's.

    Could someone look into this?
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

Is it still happening or is it happening again? Last week, it cleared up on its own (or else DougO did something after I reported it to him).

Happening again. Most of my posts this morning I had to do 3-4 times to get them to post correctly.

DougO's going to try upgrading vBulletin to see if that fixes it. Believe me, I'm as frustrated as you are. Just remember to 'copy' before posting.

Fingers crossed that resolves the issue! Cheers DougO!

Just to let you know that DougO is still trying to work with vBulletin on the glitch that keeps cutting off posts. Sorry, folks, I'm as frustrated by it as you are!

Best thing we can do to cope with it for now is to remember to COPY your posts before submitting them so if they get chopped, you can just Paste it back in. I've had excellent luck with that - as long as I remember to copy.

It's an intermittent problem which is part of what makes it hard to pin down.

Thanks for posting despite the issues!
