Information is now listed for the Audible version of TOGETHER WE WILL GO (it may have been previously but I only just thought to look). With 11 narrators/readers, it should be easy to tell which character is speaking. All of the readers look to have extensive prior credits.

Now, now...remember,these are virtual so where *you* are doesn't matter so much. And speaking of which, a third event:

For those interested, there's now a sample of TOGETHER WE WILL GO up on the Simon and Schuster page and you can hear how the epistolary format will sound:

Cheated and bought the Audible version, as that is available "now". Sounds (pun) like it will be an excellent audiobook, since there appear to be twelve different narrators, which will go well with the format.

Mine arrived yesterday right on schedule and what a great looking book. And I actually read the first three pages.

After some issues, I've gotten my @straczynski signed bookplate for #TogetherWeWillGo. These were available when ordering the book through the RainTaxi site where JMS' release day video interview was held. The feature didn't work so I had to contact the bookstore. But it's here!

I haven't seen any discussion about the actual book here which surprised me. So I guess I'll start one.

I finished the book last night. Read it in two days. My ghods... What a fantastic book. I loved the characters and hated a few of of them as well. I laughed, I cried and ended up hopeful. I hope this gets made into a movie or series. It's one of my favorite books of the year. Zeke and Soldier had me crying.
All generalizations are false, including this one.

I'm with you 100%! Loved Zeke and Soldier. Tyler made me cry, too. I'm kind of afraid to listen to that part on the audio version. Wish we'd gotten to know Theo a little better. It's amazing how we end up feeling good at the end, right?

I need to get the audiobook. My son Michael (who you may or may not remember meeting in Phoenix) is listening to the audiobook and he loves it too.

Zeke made me cry. I was sitting in a Dairy Queen having lunch yesterday and right in the middle of lunch I hit that part. I immediately started tearing up. Michael is probably going to be wrecked by that scene. He's a cat person and very very close to his cat.

Do you or anyone else know if it's been optioned for filming?

I just started watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu and the setup is similar. 9 strangers get together at a wellness clinic for 10 days instead of a bus to the end of the line. But based on the trailers it's going to be similar in tone.

JMS has said that he was processing his grief for the passing of his cat, Buddy when he wrote the part for Zeke. In fact, Soldier was the name of Buddy's dad. I was listening to that part here at work on an afternoon I was alone in the office and was glad that nobody walked in while my eyes were watering. And yes, I do remember your son!

As I recall, JMS didn't seem to think it would be a good candidate for filming due to the epistolic nature. But I think with a really good narration, it could work. I'd sure love to see it.
