Jeremiah season 2 DVD on ebay

After buying the Jeremiah season 1 DVD to see the episodes I missed I anxiously awaited season 2.

Then they leave us hanging after episode 7.

Recently on ebay I found a Jeremiah season 2 DVD INCLUDING the 8 unaired episodes for only $19.95 . I was beside myself so I hit the "buy it now button" I shouldda known better.

What I got was a back yard burn of episodes 1-7 and a blank CD with no episodes 8-15. What a POS. Beware ebay.

The seller has sold a bunch of them

I would really like to see the lost episodes.

When's the real DVD of season 2 coming out?

Sorry to hear you got burned Nexialist. I hope you left negative feedback and reported the person to Ebay if the ad was written deceptively.

So far there's no word on when the second season will be out on DVD. ShowTime only (finally!!) showed the final 8 episodes a couple of months ago. Unfortunately even JMS may not get word before any of the rest of us. He was never informed or approached for commentary on the first set at all.

If I hear of anything I'll be sure to post it.

Yes, leave as much negative feedback as you can. I too am really annoyed at Shotime for holding up the remaining episodes. I wonder if they will ever show them.

Sorry to break it to you, but they did. I think it was in late August/Early September they were squeezed into a few weeks.

Damn! I was really getting into the series too. I'll have to wait and see where they turn up. Personally, I don't think that there will be a Season 2 DVD, but stranger things have happened.

Actually, they'll most likely release S2 on DVD. It's almost pure profit for them to do so.

Not to mention, the other producers are still trying to get something going in the Jeremiah universe, so they'll want it out to prove fan support.

Finally, JMS wrote an "ending" to the series in the last eps of S2, knowing he wasn't coming back way before that and figuring (correctly) that without him, the show would die. So the last eps actually give an ending of sorts that allows fans to feel somewhat satisfied, while allowing for more stories should more be able to be told.

Personally, I liked the ending JMS gave us, and unless he returned to it (unlikey factor in the millions), I will only accept the JMS portion as canon and be happy with it.

Yeh, they'll release it...don't know when...but they will. Like I said, it's pure profit to release it on DVD, so why wouldn't they.

I'm suprised with JMS's recent experiences (with having shows shot dead before they start) that he doesn't shoot a wrap up ending at the same time as the pilot of all his future projects.

Anyway my eBay seller is no longer around.....the ebay police shut him down.

I will keep my eyes open for the "lost episodes".

No, the 'missing 8' were on a couple of months ago here in the States. Don't know if they'll be re-run. Hope so.

Glad your seller's been put out of 'business' even if that's not much help to you.
