As stated in the other thread, I like this show. Yes, it's pretty obvious in a lot of places. Yeah, some of the comedy isn't to my taste. But I like the characters.
In 'About A Girl', the show has achieved what so many never do: it made me feel. Looking at a couple of the Orville FB pages, it looks like it's achieved a few 'bar fights' worth of discussion and I think that's not something anybody expected when looking at the original advertising for the show.
Hope to see more episodes with this depth in the future. And kudos to the show for doing this so early in the show's run.
