  • The press release by Netflix about the titles coming in June uses the following title for the finale:

    http://popculture.com/streaming/2018...n-june-2018/#2
    http://bgr.com/2018/05/23/netflix-ju...-movies-shows/

    https://www.glamour.com/story/coming...x-in-june-2018

Sense8: The Series Finale — NETFLIX ORIGINAL
However that doesn't necessarily mean that's how they are going to name the episode, it might just be the name of the release itself. (In the same way they use "Marvel's Luke Cage, season 2 — NETFLIX ORIGINAL" but "season 2" is just a wrapper for the upcoming episodes themselves, if you get what I mean).

    Some quote by Silvestre: https://attitude.co.uk/article/sense...-is-gay/17989/

"I felt comfortable when I was playing Lito. I felt comfortable with his emotions, with his desires.”

He also goes on to talk about the raunchy sex scenes in the hit show, which will end with a feature-length finale this June, and said how the director, Lana Wachowski, made them feel like they were doing something worthwhile.

“You just have to let yourself go and trust in it. But when we were going to do some of the ‘edgier’ scenes, [director] Lana Wachowski would talk to us about how important it was for her to tell this story, and how sexuality is important to her because it’s about a connection and empathy, and it speaks about a vulnerable place where we are all the same deep down. She made us feel that we were doing something worthwhile," he added.

"In the end, we were like a family that made out with one another. To begin with, maybe we were nervous or shy but eventually you get to a point where you are comfortable.”
Finally, Bae and Son (Sun and Mun if you will) are rumored to be dating, but their agency denied this:

              http://www.lastampa.it/2018/05/26/sp...registraaccedi
              http://www.vocidimilano.it/2018/05/2...K/premium.html

It's behind a paywall. Alas, there's no easily accessible, cheap, subscription for just that 1 article, or just 24 hours, or something like that, for me to pay for it, as I have done in the past with paywalled articles. Each of the options subs you with automatic renewal, and I don't feel like trying to cancel a service that isn't even in my language.

But here's the same article posted as a picture taken from the print newspaper:

                    • BTS from Paris shoot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRSUMTXSz3s

Oooof, I almost get tired myself watching Lana personally capture everything, forever attached to the cameraman. She has poured her soul into Sense8. I wonder if she was stronger and could carry around the camera herself, if she would be filming on her own. There are directors that are known to do it, e.g. Luc Besson, he talks about it here: https://ascmag.com/blog/the-film-boo...r-luc-besson-1

Benjamin B: Can you talk a little about camera operating?

Luc Besson: No one ever asks me about that. I learned little by little. In my first few films I operated the easy shots, and then let my operator do the other ones. What changed things for me was The Big Blue, which has a lot of underwater sequences.

I’m a licensed diver, and I’ve been diving since I was four. So all of a sudden, in the water, I was a legitimate operator, because I swim like a fish. So I operated underwater for the entire movie. That’s when I decided to start to be the main operator.

                      ...

BB: Does operating change your relationship with the actors?

LB: When I was young I was far from the actors, because I was afraid of them. Then with time I got closer to them. Now I’m only a meter away from the actors, and this allows me to enter into the scene with them, and sometimes to modify the scene while we’re rolling. I may ask them to take a breath and start again. During the shot I may say ‘Stop, breathe in, concentrate. Now give me the line again’.

Today I couldn’t direct watching a monitor 15 meters away from the actors. I'm incapable of doing that. I can’t imagine shooting any other way.
Robert Rodriguez is another, but he does way more than just operating..

                      • Cast interviewed while filming in Naples: http://www.premiere.fr/Series/News-S...nage-de-la-fin

                        (Translation: )

That is true. But Sense8 is not a perfectly normal series. Just for this last episode, no less than four countries were visited by the team. From Berlin to Brussels, via Paris and Naples, a troupe of 60 people jumped from one location to another. All in less than six weeks! "We're a little like a company of acrobats who wander around town show," laughs Toby Onwumere , who took over the role of Capheus before season 2. " Because it changes everything to film on the spot, not use CGI ", continues Terrence Mann (Whispers). "You feel like you're really there, when you watch TV, the viewer feels like you're immersed in this foreign culture." Lana (Wachowski) did not want to film us in front of a green screen. to be in real places, with real lights, things impossible to recreate numerically."
A necessary luxury that Sense8 could afford with its massive budget of 10 million dollars, but which also implies a quasi-military organization: "We film 11 pages per day for this final, whereas generally, it is 3 or 4 pages / day for a normal series" , breathes Brian J. Smith (Will), impressed by the "Sense8 method": "In fact, they have completely revised the way of making a show, the whole production process. his job differently here ... I think the industry should seriously look at how Sense8 is done, which I think is the most remarkable thing about this program. It is just not a normal series."
In any case, a series with the humanist sensitivity fully assumed, which speaks of acceptance like no other: "I think it would take more series like that!" , insists Terrence Mann . "At least once a month, there is someone who stops me on the street and tells me that Sense8 has changed his life - people who understand who he is, thanks to the series. The series gave a sense of belonging!"
I don't think the budget is sourced from somewhere, and the sentence was building from the last paragraph which was talking about how the series, in general, has shot on location, not just the finale. So ignore that part. Someone rounded up the $9M they read about online to $10M.

Interestingly JMS a couple of months ago said that today even plain dramas are very expensive, costing about $4M. https://twitter.com/straczynski/stat...31693772800000

TV costs a LOT more now than in the 90s when we made B5. Our budget was never more than about 800K per episode (and that was only in season five), whereas most shows were substantially over a million. Now most plain dramas are about 4M; some shows hit 9-10M/per ep.

                          (Translation: )

Actor Terrence Mann , whom we met on the set, tells us more about his character and Whispers' motives: "It's great to play the villain! It's true he has a Hannibal side Lecter, but he's also a scientist with deep convictions and motivations," says Mann, adding that according to Whispers "the world is not just ready for the Sensates, so he is convinced. To take things in our hands and to rid the world of something that the world could not understand. "

A way to help? Milton Brandt is in fact a kind of mad scientist, according to Terrence Mann : "He wants to catch the Sensates, to kill them and to study them, to understand and to decipher the concept of homo sensorium. But it's for science! It's not just a devilish vlian! In a sense, he just wants to move the world forward ... "

                          • Another quote, this time by Middleton, from the Naples set: http://www.ciakmagazine.it/sense8-ri...oni-wachowski/

"It is typical of this series to make the impossible possible!", Says with a smile the English actress Tuppence Middleton (aka Riley Blue), on the Neapolitan set of Sense8 Finale (from the title Together to the end). "When we were told that the program was canceled, it was a cold shower. In the second season of Sense8 there was too much energy and beauty for history to remain suspended. In this issue 3, the "personal" issues between the characters are a bit put aside, because we focus on defending the group of "clusters" (the psychics of the series, NDA) seriously threatened by Whispers and the dangerous BPO organization ( Biologic Preservation Organization, Nda).

We have put even more intensity and enthusiasm if possible. Often the shooting days began at 4 in the morning to finish late at night!"
edit A bit about the filming in Vico Equense:

                            (Translation: )

Vico Equense - Sense8 is a very successful American series, Netflix, which after two successful seasons has been closed by the most famous streaming platform in the world. The protests of the millions of fans, however, have made sure to make a worthy closure. The final episode of Sense8 was shot almost entirely in Naples, with excursions to Castellammare di Stabia and Vico Equense. Now the wait is over and the desire is about to be fulfilled. The fateful day is June 8th. On Friday the final episode of the series will be available online (this is an extreme rescue mission). The American science fiction television series, created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski, has filmed the passage of a car on the SS 145 Sorrentina and some shots at the parking area of the factory "The Bikini".

04.06.18. 4 days until the finale of @sense8 drops on @netflix ... @sense8_fans I’m going to post some special behind the scenes moments in the coming days, attempting to share, own and hold onto the special parts of the emotional journey @sense8 has been for me. This was my first day working on the show, training in Berlin with Buff and his magnificent team. Couldn’t have asked for a more generous and kind point of introduction than @smithespis ... I still remember his calm voice and inspired spirit in the van ride home. He made me feel as if this was going to last forever and be impossibly special. 05.06.18. In the shadows of Mt Vesuvius. When you work for @netflix on a show like @sense8 you experience a life you once only dreamed of... magnificent hotels and looked after like Princes and Kings... The views from our hotel in Naples were some of the best you could find on this planet... except there were 2 dark rooms in the back of the hotel that faced a rock wall with slow dripping water falling down it... which @sukku_son and I slept in!!! We bonded over our dark rock wall, and it forced us out into this magical city, where we explored together. Detective Mun and Puck became Italian/Korean/Australian brothers in arms bonding over laughter, pizza and a shared respect for the absurdity of life and living. In the end we wouldn’t have traded our rooms for anything, because they gave us a friendship that will last for all time. #sense8 #cellmates #whatview @sense8_fans #detectivemunandpuck4eva

I do not know if I would appear in the final editing, but the experience was pretty funny. Alexandre, a 28-year-old community manager, will long remember this Saturday in October 2017 in Montmartre, where he did not really know what to expect. In addition to meeting one of his favorite filmmakers - co-director of Matrix with his sister Lara - he was able to live from inside the shoot of the final episode of Sense8 which will be available this Friday on Netflix.
