I think he would note him since he mentioned him plenty of times upwards in his article, but anyway, it doesn't really matter.

          • New letter by Lana and Karin.. The screening of the finale at the Music Box Theater had to be canceled due to whatever reasons (probably legal):

            • Ewalt says she has heard the special is now targeting summer. That's a lot later after the implied April/May release: https://twitter.com/MaximilienneEw1/...38486583148544

The screening in Chicago's been cancelled. The hope from an inside source is that the "Special" will air sometime this summer. Things happen that we r just not privy to. Meanwhile check out the fabulous podcast @Live_Sense8 with some special interviews & more coming. #Neetsmom
So maybe Netflix for some weird reason decided to target summer at the last minute, so they were like "No way it is screened in April outside of our platform! It's one thing to agree to a screening a couple of weeks earlier than our platform, and another it it's 2+ months earlier."

It might also mean something is happening behind the scenes season 3-wise, even though it's very very unlikely. Just saying, but Lana was sure to never use the word finale in her letter.. again

edit Reading the letter again, the part about "keep[ing] the integrity of the art", it is clear they would have to remove something for the public screening due to legal reasons (song?), but they thought it was way too crucial to be removed.

I think that's VERY likely to be music, because of the public broadcast copyright stuff around cinema / public screenings.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

                • Yeah, and you can't replace the track with something else if the picture has been cut to match it.

And someone got confirmation from the theater the reason is "legal related": https://twitter.com/kateinmadcity/st...50977057083393

So music is what I definitely think too.

edit Silvestre interview, confirming the Eiffel Tower scene is the ending (but, I mean, we all knew this): https://www.20minutos.com.mx/noticia...-torre-eiffel/
                  http://www.uniradioinforma.com/notic...re-eiffel.html

                  (Translation: )

Regarding the end of the series directed by Lana Wachowski and her sister Lilly, he said that he does not have an airing date yet, but it has already been filmed. "I think it's an ode to the fans, it's made exclusively for them," he said.

According to the Spanish actor, Lana has enormous generosity and offers a unique vision through "a history full of vulnerabilities that are part of the present or, thank God, of the past in some cultures. There is something very generous that is sending through this series," he said.

Without giving further details, he said that he and the other members of the cast read the script, except for the last five pages, so he does not know what the ending will be." Lana likes that part of the mystery, so she told us at the Eiffel Tower: Say this, say the other thing, total, I do not know what the ending will be. I love that because their projects are very alive," he added. The original Netflix series, which announced its cancellation in June 2017, tells the story of eight people who experience a connection with each other and each one has a special talent. The themes of inclusion and identity stand out in the production.
The translation is a little funky perhaps, because we know they actually did read the last pages before filming, which were at first kept secret, all together! But I'm sure Lana provided a lot more direction when it came to actually filming it.

edit another source has a little different quote: http://www.elperiodicomediterraneo.c...o_1141968.html

                  (Translation: )

Silvestre also awaits the screening of the last episode of the Sense8 series, the actor said that the entire cast is looking forward to the broadcast date. "We have already finished filming and we have done the small dubbing sessions for those scenes in which the sound is not the most appropriate. I think it's going to be an ode to the fans because it's made exclusively for them. "

The end of the series is a mystery. In fact, the actor from Castellon pointed out that "the interpreters read the entire script, except for the last five pages. The film ends at the Eiffel Tower, but I still do not know what the ending is. It is part of the charm of the projects carried out by Lana Wachowski."
late edit: Some sort of translation here: https://tech2.org/cuba/they-end-seri...-eiffel-tower/

Regarding the end of the series directed by the Wachowski sisters, he said that it has not yet a transmission date, but it has already been filmed.

"I think it's an ode for the fans, it's made exclusively for them," Silvestre said.

According to the Spanish actor, Lana has enormous generosity and offers a unique vision through a story full of vulnerabilities that are part of the present or the past in some cultures.

Without giving further details, he mentioned that all cast members, including themselves, read the script, except for the last five pages, so he does not know which will be the end.

"Lana likes that part of the mystery so she told us at the Eiffel Tower: Say this, say the other thing, total I do not know what the end will be. I love that because their projects are very lively, "added the artist.

                  • Interview with KK: https://www.mannlif.is/innlent/bedin...ir-frakklandi/

                    (Translation: )

The musician Kristjan Kristjansson, better known as KK, was recently filmed for the geyser series of Netflix series Sense8 in Paris. Excited fans watched excited about everything that took place. "The factors are clearly very popular there, very big, because there was a fan group outside our hotel around the clock trying to see a glimpse of the stars," says KK, who himself was not part of all the attention and not for the first time.
Confirmation of Sven and Yrsa returning for the finale:

In Paris, the final part of Sense8 was recorded, but KK is the father of one of the main characters, the Icelandic Riley. Among them were Eythor Gunnarsson and Lilja Thorisdottir who both play a role in the episodes. The atmosphere was good, and KK said that there were great celebrations when the actors met, as before, two series and one Sense8 movie had been collaborated. He admits that it was a little strange feeling to shoot in a cool cold night in the almost humanless Eiffel Tower, where the final moves took place.

But is not it strange to say goodbye to this person, Gunnar Pianist, whom you have been playing for four years? "No, actually not," he answers straight away. "But it has certainly been a great adventure for an unusual person like me, to get a role I never expected to land and get to work with all this great artists, the games and not least the directors Lana and Lilly Wachowski with their unique view the things and get acquainted with this side of the film industry. Of course, this was far beyond my comfort range, but I had folks around me, got support from Andreu Brabin, Kara Thorsson's drama education, and piano lessons with Snorri Sigfus Birgisson who taught me to play the piano in my life so I would now be considered as world-class piano concert actor," he says and smiles.
I just remembered that production was looking for a pianist in Paris to film their hands (Bottom of this post: http://jmsnews.com/forums/showpost.p...6&postcount=49 ).

So Gunnar will probably play the piano during the finale, which will partly be KK pretending to be a great pianist and partly the great pianist they hired.

Who knows, it might even be this specific piece Gunnar is supposed to play that couldn't get cleared for a cinema release and caused the cancellation of the Music Box Theater screening.

“[Sense8] I believe in particular has a very important message and is a very important series for a lot of fans around the world. We were gratified to see so much fan love, and we were happy to be able to support what I think all the fans around the world will agree is going to be a fantastic, fitting conclusion for it,” she continued.

Explaining the decision to cancel Sense8, Holland said that the decision was based on having to balance “audience size and budget”.

“At some point if you don’t have the viewership showing up to justify the expense of the series, you’re going to want to end it,” she said.

What are you most excited about for the year ahead?

I filmed Sense8, a TV show on Netflix by Lana Wachowski, which was cancelled, but the fans petitioned so much for closure that they decided to do a two- or three-hour special to kind of wrap things up. So I’m in the season finale of the second season, but have a returning guest role that I worked on last year in Berlin and Naples. It’s nerve-racking, but I really like it, it’s all super cool! I love films as well, so that would be something that I would like to pursue.

His most recent work took him to Berlin, Paris and Naples where he took part in the Netflix show Sense8's season finale’ and another Epix show called Berlin Station.

He mentions Lila's Neapolitan background and her motivations to make Berlin a sensate-only city, etc. as an example of his own creation. She's also the character he identifies the most.

"We only have 2 and a half hours", so further confirmation of the runtime.

He says if there was a third season instead of the finale special, they would solve the Wolfgang cliffhanger in a few episodes, and then the characters would return to their individual locations and story lines.

"Unlikely" for a third season to be made in his own personal opinion, but it's not his place to say, he's just a writer and not someone that deals with the Netflix execs.

                          • Just finished it. He says it should come out by the Summer and there's the possibility it will come out in June because it makes sense to release it during the Pride month, but he can't say that's for sure, with authority. (But it definitely seems like he has heard about it from a knowledgeable source rather than it being something he came up with, probably from Lana as they are close friends and he said earlier his job as a writer means he doesn't deal with the Netflix execs, so there aren't that many people he might have heard it from..)

I didn't think of Pride in June before this. Good choice then IMO.

Also June 5, is the anniversary of the show.

The photoshop composite is ehhh. And I fully expect the episode to be named as "Sense8: The Finale" or somesuch, like I have said previously, and like it appears in the image.
