And we have our very first spoiler courtesy of JMS hisownself:
J. MIchael Straczynski
3 hrs
So there's a sequence during the last ten minutes of episode 7 (production number 208) of season two -- it's a long scene in a restaurant in Berlin, you'll know it when you see it -- that will show Sensates in a way beyond anything you can imagine. It may be one of the coolest visuals in the whole show.
JMichael Straczynski
@straczynski
#sense8 S2, episode 7, technically 208, restaurant, Berlin, last 10 minute: you will see sensates functioning in ways you can't even imagine"As empathy spreads, civilization spreads. As empathy contracts, civilization contracts...as we're seeing now.

I am really exited for this season. I know it's slightly dull to compare to B5, but I get the distinct impression we'll see a similar style of build up, whereby S3 will be full on all out conflict. If B5's arc is anything to go by, S2 should be superb. And it sounds like JMS and the Ws are going to answer many of the burning questions I had once S1 concluded.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.
Kosh: Good!

He must be talking about this:
Judging by Kala's reaction, maybe all 8 sensates get angry and.. something happens. What's that something, I don't know, but I do know an action scene follows from other pictures we've seen.

So, I've now seen the restaurant scene in question, and I am left wondering what was new here?
There were some cool visual effects, and the on screen representation of cycling through the abilities amongst the cluster was very cool. I loved that aspect of the scene. It was nicely done.
But beyond that, it definitely didn't show "Sensates in a way beyond anything you can imagine". In fact, I struggled to see anything new here beyond what we've already been shown. Am I missing something? I was expecting some kind of revelation or next level powers.Last edited by Ubik; 05-07-2017, 02:24 PM.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

I need to re-watch the scene, but I got no trace of the big new thing that JMS was seemingly hinting at. I was expecting something slightly unexpected. Some kind of 'big' thing due to the convergence of the whole cluster behind one person.
I half suspect that JMS is more talking about the visual aspect of the scene and how the Sensates working together is represented. I think I may have mis-read the tweet to mean something wider about what Sensates can do. In fact, yeah, I'm pretty sure he's talking about the cool VFX they use.
If anyone uses Twitter, could they perhaps ask the question in response to JMS original tweet, cause I am not seeing it.Last edited by Ubik; 05-08-2017, 08:24 AM.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.
