Choices are either a 3-Hardcover-Book Bundle or a 3-Ebook Bundle of the Other Crusade books. And if one purchases a Bundle, one gets (that version of) the Crusade Encyclopedia at no extra change. Appears to be the Crusade-related entries from the B5 Encyclopedia released in a single volume. Went ahead and purchased the Ebook version, and was able to download both Epub and Mobi versions of the three Other Crusade books along with the Crusade Encyclopedia. If you want the Hardcover Encyclopedia, looks like you'd have to purchase the 3-Hardcover-Book Bundle.

By the way, in case anyone has missed all of the messages from Amazon - here is one about mobi and epub

Personally I find the Crusade-only material interesting as it's a new way of viewing that part of the B5 Encyclopedia and the series. But then again, I'd also take an audio epistolary like Dracula and re-arrange it to hear a character's entire narration without interruption. Just another way of viewing the same information from a different perspective. Without the occasional change of perspective and difference of opinion, we'd be living in caves wondering if rocks were edible.

The site message stated "Fans began campaigning for the volumes without his commentary, explaining how much they wanted just the unproduced scripts, memos, concept artwork and related content. Always wanting to do right by fans, JMS agreed." Unfortunately the three Other Crusade Ebooks do NOT have reformatted Scripts. The introductions, interviews, Joe Cuts, and notes would appear to be Text, but the Scripts themselves appear to be more like pictures than Text. Whether reprinted Ebooks or two more WTHHs, people who are interested can buy them, and those who aren't can hope Renewed Interest leads to New Things. (edit - pasted this part back)

(edit - retyping from flawed memory) Also eagerly awaiting audio-continuations of a certain B5 spinoff, but at this late date who can say what is or isn't possible. Big Finish has narrators "filling in" for actors passed Beyond the Rim, or revised Full Cast scripts for sole narration. Recently there was a "new" Orville audio episode in an extended novelized format, and if season 4 fizzles out, this could also the series to continue. In 1999 BBV productions released two audio titles about a (fully licensed) Robot Dog K9 and his "Mistress" in the realm of E(Exo)-Space. A Part 3 (?!) was released in May 2022, so ANYTHING is possible. Would guess it boils down to Licensing, Interest, Scheduling, and of course Profitability.

Noticed the availability info posted on the B5Books website on the 3rd and purchased the Ebook Bundle an hour later. This was about a day or so ahead of the official email announcement, so ironically was Early for once due to Weird Timing. Would fall into the category of "somebody who's ... seen the product" as the ebook versions were available for purchase/download on the 3rd and my credit card wasn't fast enough hiding under the sofa. Don't want to Violate Forum Rules , so have edited the original post to Zap any "Informed Opinion" information, but looks like my Zapping it doesn't get rid of parts that were Quoted.

Even more info. The latest B5Books newsletter offers Direct Links to purchase By Itself either the hardcover Crusade Encyclopedia for $48.99 - plus Tax/Shipping, and/or the Ebook version for $18.99 - but no tax if in the US (?). Guessing it might be 3-weeks-ish for the hardcover to arrive, whilst can get the ebook immediately. Or why not order both, as can zip through the ebook without getting the hardcover covered with dirt or virus-of-the-month germs. At present, the B5Books website doesn't have this info, so am not going to post the links here as they might be only for people subscribed to the newsletter.

Great news for , as now their SugarPerson only needs the equivalent of a Tank of Gas to acquire the hardcover!!

Hello! What is this!? This is news to me. For some reason the Newsletters about this have not reached me. So great fun to hear about the other WTHH-books.

But i must add that most of my enjoyment of JMS scripts is in reading his comments about them. So it would be sad to miss them, if scripts are published.

Sort of a semi-related question as it involves the books.

Has anyone purchased the new hardcover B5Books releases of the Crusade books and had any issues with the books/shipping/packaging? Purchased the hardcover bundle w/Crusade Encyclopedia, but unfortunately all the books arrived dented/dinged/bent. Not Captain J's fault as the shipper would be the one who didn't package them correctly - books were too heavy, got banged around in shipping and tore holes in the box. Received two replacements (Thanks Captain J!), but these ironically were in worse condition than the first batch. May still be others in transit (?) as was a 4-book set. At this point am thinking of picking the least damaged ones and ?? with the "extras". If she doesn't want the "extras" back, guess I could give them away if anyone is interested? Already have the set in paperback (and ebook ) with limited shelf space for extras.

Currently have "extra" HC Crusade Other Voices V1 and HC BTS. They aren't falling apart or anything, just didn't survive the trip in pristine condition. May still be an "extra" OV2 and Encyclopedia in shipping somewhere. Guessing this wouldn't happen with the paperback books as they weigh less and are smaller.

Forgot to mention that it would appear that Jason Davis will be continuing work on the WTHHs, so while there shouldn't be any new JMS Commentaries, who knows what Jason might add, as he has been researching his (unrelated) B5 Super Book and is Wise in Things relating to B5 and Crusade.
