  • Crusade Scripts ?

    Hello everyone,

I'm tracking down the B5 scripts books and i'm also interested in the crusade volumes.

From what i have gathered, the crusade collection is still ongoing and unfinished (quite like the show actually ! ) .
But i can't find any reference to them on b5books.com .

Every B5 volume, even those long out of stocks is there and you can see exactly what is inside each book.
So where are the crusade books ? Where they sold elsewhere ? Are they also out of print ?

    Thanks in advance

My understanding is that the Crusade books will be back in the future. The B5 Books site is 'on hiatus' after CafePress closed their book department so re-grouping is in order.

Where are you based? I'm in the UK and have some of the Crusade script books going spare (have to check which ones), in new condition. Feel free to send me a PM on the forums.

I actually emailed them about this series last month, fearing I had missed a release, and they said that the series is pending JMS' schedule. In addition, in their post about the switch to Amazon, they re-iterate this and add "that progress on that front has been made."

My guess is, knowing what we know now about JMS' vision problems and how that increased his writing times, this project just got put very far on the back burner. Hopefully, now that he's seeing better, the other three volumes will be released and the near future.

As far as references to them on the site, aside from the aforementioned Amazon switch post, the only place that they seem to be mentioned is in the "B5 Books Catalog" section of the left-hand menu bar. Both of the links in that section list the four Crusade books released to date: Behind the Scenes, What the Hell Happened? Vol. 1, and the two Other Voices books.

Am keen to hear the promised audio dramas, not so fussed about the books. I am kinda hoping they can be purchased separately.

Just wanted to thanks Ubik & Jason again on the forum.

Thanks to them both, i managed to find every scripts book i still didn't own.

It's really great to see places like here where people help others find those books without overcharging for them as it's often the case on ebay/amazon.

I tried to say, "Ditto," but the forum software seems to think that's too brief a reply, so I've written all this to convey the meaning of one five letter word.

I suspect there's something to learn in all this...

                  Enjoy the books.

Gee - all you needed was 10 characters! "Same here!" would have worked.
                    I gather it's an anti-spam measure.
