Looks very intriguing! Can't wait to find out more when further details are released on Monday! Will wait and see though about whether I want to buy it - the pictures look wonderful (love the throne room!) though I do like lots of reading material too.

What interested you the most? Any thoughts on what you think the price might be?

Very nice!!!! It looks like a great way to end my B5 book collection. And something to get JMS, and well as many people involved with B5 as possible to sign some day.

Since your asking for input... I have concerns the really "GOOD" pictures that fill both pages (24" long?) won't look nice/be fully visible unless the book can open very wide without ruining the binding?

As for the video itself, very well done! Love the music, would be cool if you did a different preview with every season's them music. Also would be nice to see the slipcase and or outside binding in the videos so we know how it will look on our book/display shelves.

Any idea on cost yet? Will i be eating ramen noodles for a month to pay for this?

        Thanks for the sneak peak!

Seeing the details of the various sets and costumes is lovely, often showing detail that can't be appreciated on the dvds. It's a great opportunity, and the full colour is great; while the earlier books are wonderful, having colour pictures is very good. Price wise... I couldn't honestly say. The full colour, paper quality, size, slipcase, the 'one-off' status for this 20th anniversary, and how it is going to be a very short-term release if I remember correctly... surely more than the Echoes books...

I agree that seeing the outer binding, slipcase would be very cool!

              I saw it.

I thought it looked great. Glad I checked before you took it down. You weren't kidding about a short time. LOL I can't wait to get it.

*sigh* This is what I get for leaving the internet for a few hours to see my daughter's drama performance.

Damn, missed it. So am I to understand my theory was at least half right, a nice art book with lots of colour shots? I assume this isn't a Cafe Press produced book?

I really hope that's reflected in the price, cause the Cafe Press books are a tad expensive for what they are. Please note, I am not saying anything negative about the quality or value of the content, merely that the pricing of the books vs. non POD books has always seemed a bit steep to me.

I really hope this is a self published book with a run of a few thousand, because that COULD drive costs down.

Sorry, Jan, have been away at Fedcon in Germany, so missed the train.
So I will have to be surprised . . .

Video preview of B5 20th Anniversary Book!!!!

Oh man, I was drooling onto the keyboard. The introductory price is bang on. This is what I mean about the advantages of limited run printing!
