The obvious question. Anyone know what happened to Crusade: What the Hell Happened?

Wish we knew. My impression has been that it's mainly JMS being insanely busy but I'm sure Captain Jaclyn will let us know as soon as she knows anything.

New alert from B5Books.com with two announcements:
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?, Volume 2 is planned for release after the re-launch of B5books.com.
J. Michael Straczynski, being painfully aware of the lag in the CRUSADE book release schedule, is putting together a "thank you for your patience" bonus that makes it worth the wait: he's producing his two unfilmed CRUSADE episodes as audio dramas with "voices the fans are familiar with." The audio drama episodes are "To the Ends of the Earth" and "The End of the Line".
Since neither of these unproduced scripts are in Volume 2, one CD will be included FREE with Volume 3 of WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? and the other CD FREE with Volume 4.
B5-20, our release honoring the 20th Anniversary of BABYLON 5, will be released in June instead of April.

Wonder who the voices will be. I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE he got Gary Cole to do the voice of Capt. Gideon. [fingers crossed] Gary has done some voice work. Actually, I hope JMS can manage to get the whole cast to do their roles for the audio dramas.Last edited by KoshN; 03-19-2013, 02:09 PM.Mac Breck (KoshN)

Well thats very exciting news... but... i wasn't planning on buying the crusade books. Again just can't get everything... but now i really want the audio books. Any chance of those being sold separately?
Very curious what B5-20 is all about as well... not that i have any money for that either. :PMilkman

Milkman, since this is a premium that JMS is giving to the fans as an apology for the wait, I doubt the disks will be available separately except perhaps on the secondary market. And remember, it's an audio drama of the scripts, not the entire book as an audio book.

Something tells me we might have a good chance of Peter Woodward making an appearance. Pure speculation of course, but it seems likely. His voice would lend itself very well to an audio dramatisation.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

I think we all know that something like that would be *awfully* expensive so let's not hold our breath for that much. But I'll be very interested to hear who ends up bringing these to life.Mac Breck (KoshN)

For TV an episode usually took an actor's time for most of a week and long hours.Last edited by nottenst; 03-20-2013, 04:57 AM.
