"The 26 Group" is the most inspired bit of lunacy I've read in a while. And I deal with the US Department of Education on an almost daily basis!

Dear Ms. Schroeder,
I would like to compliment you on your choice of attorneys. The partners of AEIOUANDSOMETIMESY, LLC. have formed our vowel board at The 26 Group since our founding.
They have been central to virtually every one of our core statements. From animosity in name spellings, to consulting on our children's book freely distributed in 26 states, "Yes Michele, It's great to have one L in your name", they have been instrumental to our stucture.
I am certain they will counsel you on the positive world outlook our group provides.
I suppose if you find your name defamed, options are available. Name changes should never be an option in our opinion. We encourage members to take a positive view about their name, not on their name as a whole but each individual letter, especially the initials.
To assist your efforts, our researchers have investigated the intials J-M-S. Unfortuately all they have found is a reference to a female undergarments maker, a computer coding language, and a writer who wrote for a show called "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" (Notice the prominent 'J'!) and wrote a play based on the Snow White fable.
You should view this as a chance to make your initals your own and build their reputation with your deeds and actions, rather than be pulled down by the dubious accomplishments of others.
Perhaps some dilectic synergy can occur between your obvious enthusiasm, the need to elevate the standing of your initials and our need for a goodwill spokesperson. Our showcasing of someone with a 'J' would be a testiment to our work of inclusion, and show your ability to overcome the elitest 'J' that you bear.
We await your decision.
Hopefully Yours

Mr. Glindros:
How dare you presume that I would want my name associated with your organization in any way?! Obviously, on top of callously mis-spelling my name and in a way stealing my very identity, for what else is a name other than the visual representation of one's own self, you've gone even further and insulted me grievously and defamed my name.
You'll be hearing from my lawyers shortly. I'm represented by the firm of AEIOUANDSOMETIMESY, LLC.
Shocked, overwrought and troubled,
I am ever,

Dear Ms. Schroeder,
Organizations like yours are at the very heart of the problem that The 26 Group is combating and winning I might add. Eliteists who feel that their initials place them above others lead to charges of discrimination, only serve to keep the common man down, and deny hope of better life to all but a select few.
The damages you have suffered pale in comparison to others. Take the case Jane Johnson. In a rare example of actual 'J' discrimination, Ms. Johnson was repeatedly turned down for dates by one Mr. C. Kent. She says he loved 'L' 's and refused to entertain her advances.
Some examples of letter discrimination are even more insideous. Consider the "fair" policy of arranging students in alphabetical order. What choice does young Zachery Zunubu get? Absolutely none.
Letter discrimination is an ugly practice. Groups such as yours just serve to promote such outdated concepts.
We are not however insensitive to the plight of those who have been harmed by letter abuse such as yourself. To compensate any injury or loss you have suffered, we have made a sizeable donation to our own group in your name.
Best Wishes

Dear Ms. Schroeder,
My ruse to let you know how important other letters are in a name has been successful. Perhaps you would like to join our cause at The 26 Group now that you see how letter suppression and oppression could affect anyone at anytime.
Feel free to contact us at your leisure if you have any further questions, or wish to join our cause.

It is our policy not to discuss internal policy outside of the Company but you can be assured that we strictly abide by all Federal, State and Local statutes pertaining to Equal Employment. Therefore, any employees of ours who are 'name challenged' would certainly never be forced to change it if for some reason they're attached to those strange appellations. The rumors that all employees have the full initials JMS are completely baseless.
Again, thank you for your interest but please direct any future inquiries to the Great Maker.

I would like to thank you for your commitment to equal opportunity to all people regardless of 'J' nomenclature. The old attitudes of exclusion certainly have no place in the modern workplace of the 21st century. Knowing that Amy, and Brandon suffer no fear of reprisal or loss of job status for the choice of their ancestors is a comforting thought.
Your policy of hiring non 'J' people should stand as a beacon of enlightenment to other companies. Only through the forward looking achievements of companies like yours can all people be treated reasonably, fairly, and with honor.
Yours Truly,
