  • TV Movie script book - SPOILERS

The scripts team sent out a little holiday gift to alot of fans, links to the convention promos made by John Hudgens.

For alot of board members this was not news, but for many fans who are not board addicts like us it has been well received.

Anyway, I almost missed it, but they said that they will be back in January with the TV Movie book. Hurray!
What a wonderful world you live in. -
Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

Now, Joe...the basic necessities of life aren't supposed to be presents! Food, water, clothing shelter, script books. It's such a small list, I don't think anything could be taken out.

I DID miss it. I saw the info about the videos, but because it had already been posted on the board, I didn't pay much attention to the rest. I just went back and reread the e-mail and am now doing the happy dance! Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

          Jan
          1. The Gathering

          2. In the Beginning
          3. A Call to Arms
          4. The River of Souls
          5. Thirdspace
          6. To Live and Die in Starlight

          7. The Lost Tales

I guess 7 is technically not a TV movie, so it probably won't be in there. Was The Gathering covered in an earlier scriptbook? I guess the TV Movie scriptbook will include 2 through 6, correct?

The Gathering was in Volume 1 (original draft) and Volume 15 (shooting draft) and In the Beginning was in Volume 14.

Also, IIRC, A Call to Arms will be in the Crusade script books. I think the Lost Tales is supposed to be in this book, so #4 - 7 is what I think we are expecting.

The movies that will be in the movie book are:

                Thirdspace
                The River of Souls
                The Legend of the Rangers
                The Lost Tales

Those are the movies that fans were invited to submit questions for.

I didn't mean to make you more anxious during the holiday season. But if I missed it the first time, I figured some others missed it too.

<shrug> Not expecting much of interest here.

His experiences with Ian McShane, and what McShane said afterward (on late night talk shows), might be interesting.

Hope this includes some of the behind the scenes discussions with The Sci-Fi Channel, and how he originally pitched a restart of Crusade instead of this. Any tidbits along those lines would be interesting to me.

What's to say here other than what he already said in the DVD extras? <shrug> We'll see.

When (start and end dates) was that? I sent in two questions, and saved 'em somewhere, but darned if I can find them now.

(Jan, I'm really trying to hold back.)

Glindros, this was the Legend of the Rangers TV Movie/Pilot, and IMHO, you didn't miss much of anything, and spared yourself quite a bit of pain. Dulann, Na'Feel and Firell were the best characters, and David Martel's best moments were scenes he had with Dulann.

He knows, but it's one of those things that's known by multiple titles. Plus, we met Rangers' lead when the Terrific Trio met up down at MegaCon.

Thanks for holding back. I always forget the title of the Rangers pilot, even having seen it a few times.

I must admit a dirty B5 secret of mine. I still don't own the Legend of the Rangers DVD.

So much for Jan ever talking to me again..........
