  • Bonus Book #15 - SPOILERS

And here we have it...the last book of the series, the one given as a gift to those who bought the entire 14 book series.

So...when you get the delivery with both Volumes 14 & 15...which are you going to look at first?

As an obsessed completist, I must read 14, then 15. Anything else is just plain wrong.

I will read 14 first, but I know in 15 I'm going straight to the outline with Sinclair.

Ditto on 14. 15 will make good comfort food, to cushion the fact that the script books are over.

I probably won't resist and will open 15 first and skim through it. Read anything that really jumps out and then read 14.

                One last *wham*!

Okay, judging from some of the posts I've seen around the 'net, it looks like a few people are getting their books already.

Not going to spoil it for anybody but let me be the first to tell you that there's some *wham* in the outline. There you'll be, reading along thinking "yeah, I can see some differences but it's not really all that..." and suddenly you're off in a whole 'nother direction.

Just like B5 used to do, it lulls you and then whacks you on the back of the head.

I'm also happy to note that all of the people who've been posting for years that the original story was supposed to have Sinclair's transformation as the final scene are 100% wrong.

I hope someone will write a summary of the most important new information in book 15. Thank you in advance.

I had a theory once that when Delenn transformed to Human/Minbari at the end of season one and Kosh said "You have forgotten something" to Sinclair he meant that Sinclair forgot to change to Minbari...but I was tired that day so I don't know how close that is or how I came to that conclusion.

What I really want to know is the deal with Babylon 4 in the original outline. My book is still in production, and I think I have economy shipping...sigh.

You will definitely read about B4 in the outline.

I had an email yesterday saying mine had been dispatched so probably another 2 weeks before it makes it here to Germany

It goes in a completely different direction, though part of the direction are things that people were suspecting after seeing Babylon Squared.

That's because Sinclair's destiny is completely different. What a shocker. Now what was the ending that JMS original saw in the shower? Was it just the image of B5 exploding?

How disappointing would it have been if we only saw the five years in this outline and not the Babylon Prime afterward? That would have been terrible.

Too much shock to comment further at the moment...

                            Neil

P.S. I cannot believe that we would have seen the 5 years presented here, if JMS had kept Sinclair. We might have seen the B5+BPrime story in the 5 years, which was closer to what we saw, or some hybrid between what we saw and what was in here.

The outline definitely supports the statement that Mojo told me at a convention a number of years ago that B4 was designed the way it was with thrusters so it could move and that the original spinoff idea was going to be centered on Babylon 4.
