  • Volume 12?

Any info out there on 12? I know JMS is busy, but I am having withdrawal symptoms.

Nothing that I've seen so far, I'm afraid.

to my current shame I've not even un-shrink-wrapped volume 10 yet. I did that for quite a while, then burned through 8 volumes in about 2 weeks. I'll get around to hem, honest

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

No! No Volume 12 now. I've just finished moving, and have only begun the unpacking nightmare. I have no money right now, having had to rent a moving semi truck, hire strong people to life heavy things, put in deposits on utilities and etc.

Please, gods of the scriptbooks, don't let another one come in for at least a month. My wallet can't handle it!

I'm sorry Omaha, I'm going to have to ask you to take out a high interest loan. I'm getting very impatient. I can let you have the money for only 75% interest. (Hey, it's better than the payday loan places!)

I think it's not so much the wait between volumes, so much as the fact that we're finally getting closer to that final volume. At least that's the way I feel.

Well, yeah. But TLT's long finished. Heck, JMS had a full copy with him in New York in February! Well, I don't know if all the CGI was done but JMS's part in it was.

I think Joe's right. Hard to believe that we're this close to the end of the original 14.

It also begs the question: what if any bonus material will be made available for the Crusade scripts? I'll bet there would be a volume alone just of TNT memos and Joe's response to them. But it would be great to see those last two scripts, which I believe were released online some time back, get a much bigger audience. For those who aren't familiar with the season one cliffhanger, it will certainly be a revelation.

Well, there were 16 scripts that we know for sure were written and 12 of them were written by JMS. That would make a comfortable 2 books with 6 scripts each with plenty of room for memos and photos and things. This post from JMS last year makes me hopeful that not only the scripts but some delicious extras will be in them.

I haven't written that intro yet, but my sense is that yeah, I will go
into some of the detail on that aspect of it. There's certainly
nothing to be lost by doing so, and I think people will find it
interesting...because the show as it would have eventually morphed
resembled the show that began almost not at all.
