Some much for three to four weeks between volumes
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOW - What a RIDE!"

*scratches head* A month is just a little over 4 weeks. So unless you read "three to four weeks" as "three weeks" or "two and a half weeks"....

Some of us are happy with the slower pace of sales, especially during the holiday season when discretionary funds are even more tight than normal.

            Great news.

Although at the beginning i was unhappy that they moved Volume 3 release date to January, i think it was the right thing to do considering holiday season. I'm very happy with January 2, i hope they don't delay it further.

I take the world a bit to literal at times for my own good and Yes I do in fact know that most mouths are four weeks and change.

As you wanting a slower pase that your right but I don't think I have to be poked at just because I would like a quicker pase to reless.

I had hoped that it would be late summer or fall of 2006 when we get Volume 15. Looking at this it the pattern, it suggest Volume 15 will in fact be early 2007.

I'm sure one mouth works alot better than two, and stringing things out gives more time for more people to learn this is going on. I was just hoping for sooner. I will go back to my box now.

Hey, I was one of the ones who voted for pre-Christmas, too. Still, I think we might have given everybody at Cafe Press a nervous breakdown if it had come out then.

I'm eager to see Volume 3 myself.

                  Nice slow pace
At least at that rate I will be able to find some money for it (despite my future relocation to another country).

BTW, does anybody know if it is possible to order previous volumes ? (I mean, is it OK if I will buy volumes 5-10 all at once? Will I be still eligible for 15th one?)

Yes, you'll be able to buy any or all of them at once. All you'll need to send in for the free Volume 15 will be your order number(s) and the teensy tiny little bitty number on the back of each volume. You can find information on the 15th book proof of purchase here and see the links for purchasing the volumes right here. (which is also where I found the release dates).

I would be in agreement with a quicker release schedule ... IF there wasn't a discount available for the first week that each volume was on sale (not that I am arguing that it should go, by any stretch). Shortening the gaps between releases would mean that those whose funds are tight would probably not be able to dive in straight away when each is released, meaning that the very people who will most appreciate the $10 discount will be the ones who will most likely miss out on it.

If the price was set at outset, and that was it, then it wouldn't be an issue because it wouldn't matter whether you ordered it straight away or a fortnight later. With a discount in place for just one week, I think it would be unfair on those fanes to put them too close together.

For myself, I think a month is fine ... also allows my wife (big B5 fan herself) to write it off as just my latest geeky obsession rather than a genuine waste of money.

saddly it is what it is but I guess more people being able to afford the scripts as well allowing other a full year to hop in on this is a good thing as well. And who knows what else JMS might find to put in 15 given another year to find it.

It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

Not to worry. You can log into Cafe Press and it'll show you your order history by the number. Also, the 'Shipment Number' on your packing slip is the same as your order number with a '1' tacked on to the end.
