    Hello.

As per Jan's request I'm popping up, In answer to (some) of her questions

My Username comes from a contraction of book seven of series by piers Anthony ( The Blue adept series) - full book title is Phaze Doubt.

Bab 5? I spotted season one on a drunken evening while idly surfing with a mate, decided "OK, I'll buy this one, you can buy season two, I'll buy season three, etc and we'd split the cost of season 5" result? Season one arrived, I watched, loved and changed my mind, I wanted it ALL! for me (have it now, seasons 1-5, Crusade and the movei box set) I'll even be buying legend of the rangers bad though it is, and I have it captured from sci-fi channel and burnt onto DVD but I want the original)

I'm a complete B5 nut, and am also currently collecting Stargate and alias on DVD.I've been tempted by links to the B5 station guide CD-ROM too, and am (slowly) working my way through JMS's audio commenteries on the Move box set (note, buy the region one version, that way you get all 5).

I'm on the lookout for any other B5 fans in Dublin, I've got a prety good TV/Home cinema set-up and would cheerfuly invite people round for watchings.

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

I *knew* your user name looked familar but just couldn't place it! Thanks for telling, I enjoyed that series.

So did your friend like it, too? And how did you react to 'Sleeping in Light'?

JMS always said that B5 fans were people of infiinite taste and sensibility. I prefer that over the usual 'nut' or 'freak' label. Though I just picked up a 'dogtag' at the convention I was at this past weekend that proclaims me a "SciFi Geek"

I'd invite some people over to my place to watch B5, but saying I have a 13 inch Sylvania with an adapter for the audio cables doesn't have that certain "ring" to it.

He loves it, and there have been weekends where we've watched 5,6 episodes in a row (although I do get a bit goggly eyed after 4 hours of B5)
As to sleeping in light, he hasn't specifically mentioned it, but I did choke up a bit at JMS's commentary - you could here the emotion in his voice and it was obviously a hard thng for him to watch

Be geeky and proud - I declare my tastes loudly - I'd do it from the rooftops but I'm not good with heights
Thanks for decloaking, Phazedout! Nice to meet you!
Ditto, it's hard to locate B5 fans in Ireland, maybe I'll put my geeky skills to good use and throw up a web page.
