I was re-watching season 4 recently. (the bit where Steven and Marcus meet the resistance on Mars) One eyed Kaledoid keeper, Captain Jack, "Lost lamb to big bad wolf". I nearly jumped out of my chair.

By my reckoning (and not counting the Peter Cushing movies from the 60s) - our good doctor is now going to be on his 10th regeneration with the new season - since a time lord has a maximum 12 regenerations does that mean the bbc will kill him off once they get to that point?

Having just watched the first 2 DVDs of the new series this last few days I have to say I quite liked Christopher eccleston's take on the doctor, so I think it's a shame they couldnt pin him down for another season...

Did any of you see the last episode of the new series ? Did you not think there may have been a bit of B5-ness at the end there when it was revealled that the Tardis is alive. Then the spirit of the Tardis entering Rose in a very similar style to Lyta & the Vorlon's. Then after she came too she said she had heard a song (like the Vorlon type telepathic song) in her sleep, the doctor then said he sang at the Daleks and they went away, clearly referring to the spirit of the Tardis that spread their atoms through time. Could be a nod in direction of B5 if you ask me.
