I just got to get me a ticked to Live 8! And there are even rumours that the Floyd will reform with Roger Waters... Yes, and pigs may fly... Hold on! At the Pink Floyd gigs pigs DID fly...

Damn. You're in the Netherlands. If I was in Europe, I would be so there. Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands, if not my top band. I owe that to my dad and my uncle with their interesting vinyl collection, which contained every Pink Floyd album among other bands.
    RIP Coach Larry Finch
Thank you Memphis Grizzlies for a great season.

That would be fun! After all, who can't love a band with a song title like "Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict" from an album named "Ummagumma?"

        Live 8?????
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

          Floyd?? With Waters?

Damnit. I miss all the fun stuff. Best I can get is The Machine (cover band) at a popular little hall upstate. Not that they're bad, they're damn good, but damnit.... Floyd is one of the very few bands where I pony up for all the albums. Think I'm only missing one or two now from the post-Waters era.

Hell also froze over (Eagles), as I recall, so if it's rumored I wouldn't miss it.

EDIT - Er, Live 8, I hadn't heard of it before either, but see this. Sequel to Live Aid.

            From CNN.com-

In Philadelphia, the scheduled acts are the Dave Matthews Band, Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, Bon Jovi, Will Smith and Stevie Wonder.
Blech. My only hope is that MTV will carry some of the other cities...

Radhil, I'm not sure which ones you're missing. Momentary Lapse of Reason is a good album, although it's basically a Gilmour solo album exlcuding name. Division Bell took me a while to enjoy, now I find it an excellent album. I've not heard the Delicate Sound of Thunder live album, but Pulse is a superb live album though I'm still looking for either a DVD or VHS version since it's been impossible for me to find them.

Division Bell. That's the one. I already have Momentary Lapse of Reason. It gets lots of playtime. Vastly underrated, in my opinion.

Delicate Sound of Thunder is kinda meh, but there's very few live performance tracks on any band that I get into. I might check out Pulse.

I thought someone was just being lazy...kind of like "ur cool."

I will probably try to make it to Ozzfest this year...

You've got Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Iron Maiden, BLS, In Flames, and Velvet fucking Revolver. The rest are pretty much garbage or bands I've never heard of.
