  • Jerry Orbach RIP

I don't know if there are any Law & Order fans here, but I just saw that Jerry Orbach passed away last night from Prostate Cancer. He was a really good actor and will be missed.

        OH NO!

I cannot believe this! What a terrible series of losses...I sit here in my house, with my girlfriend taping tonight's LAW AND ORDER for us to watch later and I am in shock.

Jerry's style of acting was such that he seemed like he was not acting at all. He was so natural, it was like his characterisation was so real that Lenny Briscoe was an actual person. Maybe it is because the sense of humour that was given to the Briscoe character so matches my own, what I do know is that it was all the better for J.O.'s delivery.

        A real loss...

The good news is that there are 6 more episodes already completed that have Jerry in them as Lenny. It is in a new L&O show called L&O Trial by Jury and it will be starting in March (I think). I'm looking forward to it since a) it is a new L&O show and b) Lenny will be in the show.
