That is actually very cool ! Always cool to speak to the real people involved in the real science and tech .
I had a similar experience at Fedcon this year, talking to some ESA people about the Rosetta probe.

On July 14th the new horizons spacecraft will flyby Pluto.
The mission was launched nine years ago.
