  • Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey

Any one watching the new Cosmos mini-series?

I really like Neil deGrass Tyson from his Star Talk show, his personal history with Carl Sagan too.
The new Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey is great but lacks a certain je ne sais quoi of the original.
I'm re-watching the original and have noticed the new episodes often mirror Cosmos: A Personal Voyage.

Last night's 'The Immortals" paled to the original's 'The Persistence of Memory'. The graphics of the new are far superior, both hosts hit on the same points, but Carl Sagan gets extra points for being more philosophical… not that he just talks faster

Looking forward to the last two Cosmos episodes.

I LOVE Cosmos!!!!!! Never saw the original. I love how much I learn. My favorite parts are the animated Scientist stories. "giggles" I feel that it is a very beautiful and important show, especially for kids. And I hope the ones who need to see it most are allowed to somehow.

There was another show a couple of years before the original Cosmos called Connections.

Much like Carl Sagan, James Burke explored the cause and effects of technology, woven through history and in our lives today.

Starting with 'The Trigger Effect', Full episodes are posted on youtube.
