The leader of the WBC, famous for picketing at servicemen's funerals with hate signs blaming their deaths on acceptance of gays has died.

I despise everything he stood for in recent years (I gather he did some good work for civil rights in the past) but some of the posts and tweets I've seen the past few days have been disturbing with suggestions of digging up his grave and other things.

I can't help but hope that the WBC fades into the obscurity it so richly deserves now.
