If you enjoy the original "The Munsters", you may also enjoy the original "Car 54, Where Are You?" Both shows have Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis.

So true, So true . . . . Now who can tell me why I can't upload a new Avatar? Size is correct, but every time I try it says "Upload of file failed".

Samuel (Shemp Howard) Horwitz is correct. Now I am going to change it. This next one will have the person's entire face.

No, I didn't miss the "prior to 1970", but I was at a loss as to the identity of the person. Any of your last five clues would have led me to the correct answer.

    1. He was famously phobic.
    2. His youngest brother tragically died three years before him.
    3. Had a semi-successful solo career for the time, but is best known for working with an act.
    4. He worked with two of his brothers, Jerry and Moses, but there is only one brief example of him working Jerry.
    5. Had a stage last name, Howard.

    1. His real name was Samuel, but he went by a stage name.
    2. He was from a family of entertainers.
    3. Happened to die while doing something he feared.

I know these aren't the best hints, but in this day and age when it is so easy to look things up on the internet I don't want to be too specific.

And since Dave is the only person to show any interest, so far, I'll give the answer if he asks for it or I'll post it in a few days if he doesn't.

And please chime in if you like. I'll give more hints if anyone wants them.
    Mel Smith
The star, who appeared in Not The Nine O'Clock News alongside Griff Rhys Jones, passed away at his home in north west London yesterday after suffering a heart attack, his agent Michael Foster said.

I've discovered the avatar feature is not working today.

I'll try changing mine again later.

No to both. Another hint: Not related to science fiction, drama, or horror in any way.

Tough one; Looks familiar, but I could never place the face. Character actor? Been on The Twilight Zone?
