Syfy Prepping Space Dramas From Jason Blum, Gale Anne Hurd (Exclusive)

The emphasis above, is mine. I thought "Space" was a dirty word at Syffy.

Too little too late! Cursade! Grrrrr!

Fingers crossed a few of these will be worth a look.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

    Kosh: Good!

Well.... 100% of the fault there lies with TNT (for their effort in making it impossible for anybody else to pick up Crusade and make a success of it, thereby showing TNT up.) and Warner Brothers (for not letting Universal own a piece of Babylon 5 and Crusade.).

Syffy's fault is in looking down on space science fiction and the fans of space science fiction. Maybe they're turning that around, maybe because they think it might have burned themselves by pissing off those fans, but I don't trust them. I doubt that this signifies the learning of any lesson on Syffy's part, and this is probably a token effort to lure fans of space science fiction back to the channel. I wouldn't go back to them unless they did a restart of Crusade, perhaps from the beginning, even with some different actors (Daniel Dae Kim is busy with that cheesey but successful H50v2.). I'd prefer that Crusade follow the storyline that's already been built rather than starting over. JMS must have had a trapdoor for Daniel Dae Kim.

How about a "The Passing of the Technomages" miniseries? I'd go for a Psi Corps trilogy miniseries, too, but I doubt that Walter Koenig could still play Bester, except 2281 Bester. Hmm, that could work; have somebody else play young Bester.

Then, maybe Syffy could do a remake of Strange Luck and The Dresden Files (FAITHFUL TO THE BOOKS, THIS TIME.), and a restart of Brimstone (I think that Peter Horton and Glover could still play their roles.).

As for TNT, they can burn in Hell.

I wouldn't mind some re-runs as well. Hell, hopefully the Blake's 7 remake could see the original finally get a stateside release.
