  • Star Wars CLONE WARS

For those who have never heard of it, it was a small animated serial designed by George Lucas to bridge the gap between the last Star Wars film, and the next.

Well, I saw a few episodes of this animated series a while back.

Originally it was shown in four minute segments, which I found disjointed and hard to follow. The animation was not great and the voices were average.

Well, Toonami showed it again last night, and I managed to catch it. In total it was an hour and twenty minutes long and I loved every minute of it.

I would recommend to any Star Wars fan to watch the whole thing in one installment, I could not turn away.

I do have a question for anyone that has seen it. Who was the boy in the hat overlooking the great battle between Mace Windu and the battle droid army? (he did look a bit like a young Luke, but I'm sure it could not be)

It was just a boy,not a character from the movies or anything.

    - i enjoyed the Clone Wars (im a fanatic fan),but when it was on i didn't like it,it was only 4 minutes per episode, too damn short.

    - There would be more Clone Wars animated chapters before Episode III comes out and this time they will be longer.
You can read about it here:

Cool, thanks for the link. Looks like they will be 12 minutes each episode in future.

Another question. The last battle between General Greivous (the big droid thing) and a group of jedi. I was a little overwhelmed by this last battle. ( as Bart would say, pleasure overload ! )

We see Greivous taking out this group of jedi, which included Shak Ti and council member Ki Adi Mundi. But the outcome was not clear. Did he kill all the Jedi, or is it left unanswered as a cliff hanger ?

Its interesting that they say that this General Greivous will be in the next film.

I must admit it was cool seeing all the Jedi from the films in action. I would still like to see more of the council members in action though, like Ploo Koon or Sae See Tin.

Cant wait for more episodes now !!

I've been watching SW since I was under two years old, saw ANH (before it was ANH) in the theater at that age and have eaten, sleeped and breathed SW since then. I thought CW was rotten. Worse than the prequels, if that's possible. I felt like I was watching my (nonexistant) kid brother play video games. There is very little dialogue, no character development and stupid-looking artwork. Essentially, it was nothing more than a commercial project that's intent was to sell toys that look like the cartoons.

Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

Well i must say i have no idea,i dont remember that episode (didn't watched it since it was aired),but if Ki Adi Mundi was there then he's still alive (since we will see him in EP-III).
