    Come to Mordor

Cool LOTR Filk music video to the tune of 'Come Together'

    'Come to Mordor'

The same folks - Jeff & Maya Bohnhoff, do a couple of B5 songs, 'Byron' and 'Sympathy for Mr. Morden' worth looking online for.

The whole of 'Through Silver in Blood' by Neurosis... cause it's cold and bleak outside. So I figured the music may as well be too. Still a blinding album.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

      Kosh: Good!

"Lake Shore Drive" by Aliotta, Haynes & Jeremiah. It's a song about a road in my hometown Chicago.

          Neurosis are simply awesome.

While at work I listened to the albums Ace of Spades, Iron Fist, and Another Perfect Day.

Wow, never expected a Neurosis fan here. Although I don't know why not, people who like SF also often tend towards fringe music, i.e. extreme metal, experimental electronics music, drone, etc.

I listened to their new record 'Honor found in Decay' today and it's absolutely great. They haven't put out a dud record, but this one stands out from the last few.

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "
