When I first heard of it in the paper last year, I said "That is going to be one fucked up movie. Can't wait!"

I don't know how big a fan I am of Burton - I know what he's done, but I haven't had a whole lotta chances to watch 'em. At least anything put out after the '80s.

But yeah, I've heard of the Charlie remake. And hell yeah, I want to see how that turns out. It took me a long time before I would think of it as anything other than another bad rehash idea that would suck majorly, but now what I'm hearing.... yeah, this could be good.

I'll have to look up Burton's other recent stuff.

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?"

I must admit, I'm curious to see a trailor for it. I'm a big fan of Burton's, my favourite being Sleepy Hollow. Hopefully the new film will be similar in style and atmosphere to that.

(although Charlie and the Chocolate factory is still just a silly kids story)

I am watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure for the 50th+ time and the scene in the Satan's Helper's bar is one of the best in movie history.
