  • New HOT TOYS FIGURES From BATMAN 1989 (A 'must buy' for me!)

I have just pre-ordered these via SideShow. Had to use the Flex-pay options as they are priced like if all people are rock stars!!!

Collectible figures, statues, art prints, jewelry, replicas, apparel and more from the greatest purveyor of pop culture in the known universe - Sideshow.

Sideshow continues to make great quality and then rapes you on the price. As much as I would like to put these next to the Superman I and II figures I got for a quarter the price, I cannot afford this. I really hate Sideshow and I am still surprised there are people out there that can afford this in today's economy.

I think that it's more down to HOT TOYS pricing than SideShow. I have several other HT figures before the deal with SSC and they were still about the same price.

I never saw those SUPERMAN I and II figures, do you have pictures?

Go to www.mattycollector.com and head to the DCU section. I have no idea why these things are so high. You can get the Buffy ones for dirt cheap, so its not like they retain their value.

With respect lotjx, those are terrible!

          Compared to this.....

The only value they have as collectibles is that HT is not offering figures of Hackman's LUTHER and Stamp's ZOD (yet). The face sculpts are awful, specially the Reeve's. And those bodies are just plain wrong.

That body on the HT Superman figure is just right. The one on Mattel's is a joke. It's the difference between a 'collectible' and a 'toy.'
