Wowzers, I'm flying all the way back east just to see Jan cuz she's awesome. You should too! And if you are, we should all coordinate hanging out. Anyone else going?

I'm thinking of doing at least one B5 get-together. Too bad there's only Bruce from B5 or we could try to have a 'Diplomatic Reception' the way Amy and I did a few years ago.

All right, con-children, gather round. I've decided that there's going to be a small 'Shadow Track' this year consisting of

- the traditional Babylon 5 Diplomatic Mixer (probably Saturday evening) and
- one panel/gathering (probably Sunday) the nature of which is to be determined.

I'm gonna need help because I won't be arriving until Friday night. Who's volunteering?!

I was just looking at the guest list again and it seems to me that we can invite guest stars to the mixer if we like. Tony Todd and Robert Englund will be attending the con.

What do you guys think?

BTW, Mitch and Gary - do you know anything about availability of Wi-Fi at the Hyatt and Marriott?

I haven't used it, but my understanding is that you have to pay for it, and you're paying through the nose (as in, 20-30 bucks PER DAY just for the wi-fi in one hotel, and if you get it there, you can only use it in that one, not in the one right next door).

I seem to remember something posted about two years ago, where people were getting some sort of airport wi-fi package that ended up being around 20 bucks per month, and one of the host hotels was included in it.

Tony Todd was in "A Call to Arms" and Englund was Jeremiah in "Grey 17". If I bring a script book at all, it'll probably be a Volume 15 I've got several autographs in already. Otherwise, probably just the title pages from the shooting scripts (much lighter).
