This is the kind of BS that pisses me off...

Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required. -
As a friend of mine used to say:

I think it's insulting...
It's as if they were saying that you have to swallow whatever they give you, just because it's sci-fi adventure, as if sci-fi adventure fans had no brains... and better choices to watch.
It wouldn't have been hard for the script writers to set the movie elsewhere to make it more plausible... instead they want the public to be as mentally lazy as they were.
