I'm not a great King-fan, and I haven't read much of the "Tower", but the concept sure sounds intersting, though I don't know if it will work. On a sidenote, personally I'm not so sure if Ron Howard is the best candidate for such a project, I (still a Lost fan
) would have preferred the Abrams/Lindelof/Cuse trio (I think some time ago they were also briefly associated with the idea of turning the Tower into movies or a tv show).
