Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I was just reading a little inset with him on DS9's music last night in the DS9 Companion.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

He is my #1 favorite movie composer. He was working up to the days before his serious decline and death. Kinda like in the same league as Mozart and Bach. They worked up to near time of death. Bach never finished his last work. With Goldsmith I think its the same thing.

I hope there will be concerts given now of his various large scale movie works. Many of them are extremely beautiful and innovative.
