Reading that author Terry Pratchett is encouraging legislation empowering terminally ill patients to be able to end their lives on their own terms in this article I wonder how many people here support this or oppose it and why.
I'm very much in favor. One of my most deep-seated fears is the thought of becoming helpless or un-mindful and not being able to die. To my mind, living wills and final directives aren't enough.
