  • Favorite online comic strips

I don't recall if there's ever been a thread about this before. What are your fave online comics? The two I go back to the most often are:

    Evil, Inc. and

    xkcd

Another one I enjoy when I remember is

    Courtng Disaster

What about you? (Please warn if you link to something Not Safe For Work)

I liked to read Colleen Doran's prequel to A Distant Soil as she put them up each week.

I enjoyed those a lot, too. It looks like she's planning on showing more of her "A Distant Soil" work online, too.

Does it have to be exclusively online? If not, my pick is Get Fuzzy.

Casey & Andy - for mad science fans (and occasional cheesecake)

8-Bit Theater, for Final Fantasy fans.

Roomies / It's Walky / Joyce & Walky / and Shortpacked! (4 mostly-sequential comics set in roughly the same universe. The most recent one, Shortpacked!, is about a toy store.)

Order of the Stick for D&D fans mostly.

And if you liked the game Half-Life, there's Concerned: The Half-Life and Death of Gordon Frohman

Hehe, I was considering posting the Concerned link myself as it's fantastic, but I wasn't sure there'd be many HL fans hereabouts.

Strangely enough, I'm NOT a Half-Life player or fan, but I found the story hilarious anyway.

It's probably funny on other levels for actual players.

I only really like the darkly humorous, frequently mean-spirited ones, like Cyanide & Happiness, Wondermark, or Perry Bible Fellowship.

Oh, and there's another one I used to read that was so vile I'd likely court a banning just for posting the link here.

Yeah well, the one you linked to.
Could be that those are old, but in my state of Alzheimer even yesterday's strip would be new to me.
