Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required. -

Yes, I haven't read anything by him for several years, but a lot of his early books (The Andromeda Strain, Five Patients, Terminal Man, The Great Train Robbery etc.) were real favorites of mine back in my teenage years.
He is also one of the few writers whose books translated extremely well to film. In fact, many of his later books read almost as novelizations of films that just hadn't been made yet.Comment
