It always makes me happy when B5 actors find work. I hope he knocks there socks off.

I think it'd be fun if he was an arch-villain. Remnants of the Company they keep bringing up. Him and Bob ("Ned! Ryerson!", can't think of him as anything else) can have a hoot.

Yeah, same here. When the show started in the US I didn't give a damn. But when I saw the first Episode here, I was instantly hooked and got me the whole first season and watched season 2 afterwards.

I'm very curious about how Bruce will be introduced (read: what his role will be).

I just did a bit of housekeeping and merged a couple of threads about this and brought it all into 'Off Topic' since it's more of a 'Heroes' item than B5.

Mmm, I saw that earlier and had meant to post that here. Interesting that he appears to be playing a politician again. Esp after he played one in Commander in Chief.

    Bruce Boxleitner on Heroes!

The great Michael Ausiello is reporting that Capt. Sheridan himself is joining the cast of Heroes, albeit in a recurring role. I actually have to start watching that show.

Plus don't forget that season 2 was not really a complete season...what they were only setting up in what we saw was supposed to be fulfilled in the rest of the season that never happened due to the writer's strike. So I don't think Nichelle is done yet. They got it to what could be a cliffhanger and left it until after the strike and called it a season.

So let us not judge it like the first season since it was a different beast because of the strike. I still liked it and can't wait until it returns and we get to see more of Nichelle and now Bruce!

And of course I can't wait until May '09 to see Sylar play Spock! He ZQ seems to like one named characters that start with an "S" and only have 5 letters. LOL.

I liked season two just as much as the first but it did feel different from the first one. I think that's part of the point, though, that each 'chapter' (which I think doesn't necessarily have to match with seasons) be different from what went before.

Yeah, I kept waiting for Nichelle Nichols's character to actually do something, but it just didn't happen.

Season two had its moments, but definitely fell flat in several places. Here's hoping season three will be better and that they utilize their characters much better.

Much to my surprise, I ended up loving Heroes so this is great news for me. I hope they actually give him something good to play, though. I was disappointed at what little we saw of Nichelle Nichols.

Well, I'm really not into Heroes, I have to say I don't like the show at all. But I would be happy for Bruce to get a new bigger role in a popular tv format, since he's a very good actor and hasn't done much interesting stuff since B5, and I'm sure it would be nice for him to earn some extra money.

A tv Guide blog is stating our Capt. Sheridan is to have a recurring character on Heroes.

Could be cool -- although I don't really watch tv.
