It's beautifully plotted, and even though I've probably seen it four or five times already, the structure still holds together incredibly well. Some nice performances too. I would happily show it to a non-Who fan (albeit with a few words of explanation) in the knowledge that they would probably enjoy it.

I also like the idea that Moffat volunteered to write the Doctor-lite episode for season three (each season 'double-banks' two episodes that are shot at the same time, which means an episode has to be light in terms of featuring the lead actors), and yet he took what some writers would find to be a liability and turned it into a real plus.
Still, I would like to see Moffat make a hat-trick - he has certainly earned it. He has written my favorite episodes of all 3 "New Doctor Who" seasons.

Only book I've read on the list is Scalzi's, "Lost Colony". I liked it a lot. (Man, I gotta get back to reading!)

i don't think a "threepeat" is out of the question for moffat, i think its very telling that a writer can get on that list 3 years running having already won twice in a row, and since it is heavily roumored that moffat will take over in place of russel t davis after the year break at the end of this season and the 3 movies. that such examples only go to show that DW is in safe hands for the future

I see the Star Trek Phase II episode "World Enough and Time" has been nominated for Dramatic Presentation-Short Form. I really enjoyed seeing this at a couple of cons.

I don't know much of anything about the other nominees but I'd love to hear what others think.
