I find it cute and enjoyable but at the same time it a sign of how far apart we when it come to politics. But Personally it I feel that people are as open minded right now as they have been in some time granted that will most likely change when people get to there lesser of two evils arguments as the election come closer.
In any case I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that you don't get any phone calls from Ron Paul in the coming year he calls my place every 15 minutes /cry. It all gets better after the jan 3rd.....

Mine is easy enough... "Merry Stitchmas". It works for almost everyone, and prompts people to buy more Lilo and Stitch stuff for me.

To my liberal friends;
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical or mental ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
To my conservative friends;
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
this is where being a libertarian helps

Just to be semi-serious for a moment, if there are people who choose to have issues with the way a heartfelt good wish is phrased, I've always found that the true issue is with them, not the phrase of the well wisher.
(And also being of a non-traditional bent, I *do* wish everybody a wonderful holiday season and a happy, prosperous New Year!)

That PC greeting has me laughing so hard I've got tears in my eyes.
As someone who doesn't celebrate these holidays, I've always struggled with what I should and shouldn't say.
I usually prefer to go with the non-committal "Happy Holidays" -- Brief, to the point, general enough not to be misconstrued in any offensive way -- But, that liberal/conservative greeting is WAY better.
I love it!
Oh, and happy holidays y'all!
I don't write here much, but I check the site daily.
Thanks for making this place worth reading.
Wishing you a wonderful new year,
Keren
