Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Those of us in the US will be celebrating Thanksgiving today, a holiday that was started off by early settlers to give thanks for a bountiful harvest in this new land they had settled and has now come to symbolize stuffing your face with turkey before falling asleep watching college football and getting up the next morning to engage in a frenzy of Christmas shopping!

(OK, that may sound a tad more cynical than I meant it to be... )

Anyway, to all, a Happy Thanksgiving!

No turkey or football here, though. We're having a bountiful ham feast following the traditional sappy movie. This year was 'Enchanted' which was fun. Hardly intellectually stimulating, but fun.

No Christmas shopping tomorrow, either...unless it's online.
