The British show "My Hero" has some points of similarity (though it is pure situation comedy, though not to my taste).

Totally agree that it was a pure comedy bit, and as most TV sitcoms goes, good for a all demographics if they don’t over do it or screw it up by adding sex appeal… it was good clean fun having the main character discover new powers week after week and seeing him try his best to be the super hero he was meant to be, simply because he lost that damn book. Note - I do recall the visitors returned and gave him a new book… Only to be lost again, lol.

Who knows, but don't bring back Airwolf (what was that show about anyway?), ahhh.

Don't know if that's possible. Where would they find another crewman as dumb as Kowalski? ("Kowalski, run into that neuclear reactor that's on fire below decks and grab the monster's tail to distract it while you're bouncing off the walls because evidently the boat's anti-rolling devices were all bought at Joe's Sub-Par Electronics and the sub's wiring panels are doing a redford-hits-a-home-run-and explodes-the-lights-in-a-shower-of-sparks effect!"

Thanks. That is a very cool car (one of my favorites). But not sure it would make a good K.I.T.T.

No, it doesn't really look the part to me, either. Some super-modern concept car would've been cool.

And just for the record, I didn't watch Knightrider.

This project is so much still in the very early stages I don't know that they've even really decided on a car. Besides, I trust nothing from AICN. Nothing.

EDIT: Looked at the pic...could be real. Not really worried about it one way or the other. Still don't believe anything at AICN.

Odd. I can't think of any real reason not to trust AICN. By and large, the vast majority of their stories turn out to be accurate. But then again, I've never had a problem with PayPal either.

Regarding my prior comment about the Mustang, here is a previously debunked Knight Rider poster featuring a very exotic KITT.

Mainly I don't trust any internet rumor...that's just in general. It's always fun to speculate on what these sites say, but I never take is as fact.

And I do not trust any site that states rumor as fact, which AICN, along with several others, has been known to do.

Lemme give you a heads-up here...there is a qualitative difference between an
actual reviewer and the kind of jumped up fanboy who posts a message on this
kind of system specifically for the purpose of trashing something out of the
usual fanboy feud shit we've seen over the last seven years. (And then, from
what I've heard, pops on over to b5lr.com to get reactions because he wants to
                        get his jollies.)

This is not a review. It's not even close to a review, and this kind of crap
is what totally destroys and has destroyed any hope of legitimacy that aicn
has, which is why just about everybody in the business now totally writes them
                        off.
It started off as a news site, now it's a fanboy site with clearly
                        distinguished biases.

They don't like that I say this? Tough. It's my review of their performance.
                        (Emphasis added. Source)

                        Is that a reason?

For a couple more just search for AICN in the JMS post archive...

I would like to see the B5 loose threads put together as a miniseries. That way you can have more time to put out what you had in mind rather than squeezing out little 90-120 minute stories every few years.

As for the classics, no. They had their time and either ran the gauntlet or withered on the vine. I hear it all the time from my friends about this same topic about how Hollywood has no new ideas and is digging into the past to resurrect old TV shows and movies. A lot of these shows I remember as a kid but to watch them now makes me cringe. For example I can only watch the first few episodes of Battlestar Galactica then it turns into a kiddie show. I'm glad the reimagined Battlestar Galactica turned out the way it did. I don't think they can do much with a talking car, a sea monster plagued submarine, time-travel (this format has been done to death to say the least), or most of the other shows that are no longer with us.

We stand on the bridge and no one may pass.
We do not retreat whatever the reason.
