*laughs* Oh yeah, I LOVED that show...

@CE: *grin* Airwolf was one of my favorites in the younger ages.
But let's be honest. Without Ernest Borgnine it wouldn't be worth it. Michael Vincent... well that's another pair o' boots...

I would agree with that one. It's been rumored off and on in some fashion, once as a feature film, though I believe it was pure comedy...a vehicle for one of the SNL alumni. If that's the case, they can leave it on the shelf.

The second half of Season 2 seems like a pale imitation devoid of the cleverness, quirkiness and especially humor the characterized its best moments.
    I have to disagree there.

"Fire Walk With Me" is a great film and I'm very much looking forward to the Special DVD set with the deleted scenes with more of the series regulars (including the late great Jack Nance).

FWWM is very much like the last episode of "The Prisoner" if Lynch had wrapped the whole thing up in a neat bow everyone would have moaned but by doing what he added to the mystery of the show and paved the way for other films to come like "Lost Highway" (which is apparently set in the same universe).

I thought the James Hurley subplot with the apparently battered wife was the only dud in season 2 and the final two episodes were amazing.

A continuation (25 years later...) would be great and timely too.

I do remember watching the end for the first time and thinking....huh? I don't get it at all... lol.

David Hasselhoff is in talks to appear on NBC's "Knight Rider," reprising his role as Michael Knight from the original series.

Additionally, "The Young & the Restless" co-star Deanna Russo has landed the female lead in the movie/backdoor pilot opposite fellow soap star Justin Bruening.

Highlight to read spoilers for 'Knight Rider':
"Rider," from UMS and Dutch Oven Prods., is a sequel to the 1980s series that centers on Mike Tracer (Bruening), Michael Knight's son who never knew his dad.

Burned by his love for childhood best friend and one-time girlfriend Sarah Kamen (Russo), Mike is wasting away in Las Vegas when Sarah reappears and is willing to pay off Mike's gambling debt in exchange for help.

Sarah is the brilliant estranged daughter of KITT inventor Charles Kamen, who works as an assistant professor in the engineering department at Stanford. When she receives word from talking-car KITT (Knight Industries Three Thousand) that her father is missing, she and KITT set out to find and recruit Mike.
Thanks for posting that...I was going to look it up in the trades and post it. The one thing missing in what you posted is that the impetus for bringing this back was the success of Transformers. There is clear talk that the new KITT will "transform" in some way to play on this success. Yes, Hollywood at its best! One thing works so we steal it and do it to death! Not a brain among 'em I don't think.

I would love to see Twin Peaks return and find out what happened to Agent Cooper and his doppleganger, but truth be told we have a better chance of Bush telling the truth and coming clean.

There has been talks of a reboot of Space 1999 (of course it couldn't be called that anymore). But I only recall reading a blurb somewhere..don't remember where that was.

Blake's 7 has also been on again, off again, although with the huge success of the new Doctor Who (which I LOVE) and Torchwood (which I LOVE), it might be on again before we can say Avon!

V is in negotiations now for another mini-series what would pick up after the first one ended, forgetting the 2nd mini-series and the series...at least I think that's right. I just read it at Hollywood Reporter...I'll have to find it and post the article (ok a link to the article or something). But the original guy behind it is in talks to continue it in some form.

I would love to see Firefly, Crusade, LoTR, Farscape...any of them return...but other than Farscape's webisodes I don't expect it. Whedon has stated that the Firefly-verse may not be completely dead, but who really knows. Would also love to see more in the Buffy-verse! Angel, a new slayer show...something...but with Whedon seemingly very happy to continue that in comic form (both of them Buffy and Angel...the comics have been great fun so far), it ain't likely that Buffy or any of her verse will be gracing any screens anytime soon.

Sapphire and Steel would be great, there's also been mention of Tomorrow People, but that's all due to the Doctor's success and goodness knows if anything will happen. BTW, original Doctor Who might have had no budget but it wasn't bad...in fact it was brilliant...well up through Tom Baker anyway. After that it fell victim to a Berman-like producer with no vision who eventually ran it into the ground only to have a brilliant young visionary producer/writer re-envision it and make it absolutely amazing!! See any parallels there? Hmmm.

And Frulad...I like Journeyman! It is its own show...not Quantum Leap. Just like Moonlight is not Angel. I like both the new and the old. Oh and QL can't come back as it was....hello...he was dead. Remember?

As for any other shows I'd like to see given a new life...I'll have to think on that a bit more. Get back with you on that one.

Yeah, I read about it. A friend gave me the DVD box. It includes a booklet which contains the story of the series. Read: Why and how it was made, the problems which occurred and what the reaction after the final episode were.
