          Web based episodes... Farscape webisodes

Not much of a Farscape fan, but the actors are doing great on SG-1. So I pass this along with if anyone is interested...

Thanks for that link. I hadn't heard of that project, but I will definitely be keeping my ears open. Both Browder and Prowse are very nice guys, so it's nice to see they've got another project in the works.

What's even more sad is that despite the relatively high ratings, wrestling doesn't generate ad revenue because advertisers have a prejudiced view of what the wrestling fan is. When Raw on USA was going insane numbers in '98 and '99, it didn't matter much because the ad revenue just wasn't coming in. I'd wager that the average wrestling fan has more disposable income than Sci-Fi's viewer base, but you can't tell that to ad execs. Wrestling fans are snaggletoothed welfare recipients as far as they're concerned.

Personally, I'm still trying to figure out why they show WWF wrestling.
That's WWE, because some lame int'l animal group called World Wildlife Fund finally won a twenty-year long court battle over the "WWF" moniker. I would love to see this eco-terrorist group shut down for causing me great pain by forcing me to watch old school WWF shows with the logo blurred out.

And the practical reason for Sci-Fi showing ECW is that Sci-Fi and USA are under the same banner and the Sci-Fi brass wanted the show. It's amazing how the ratings have dropped, though, and not because of the Benoit murders, but rather because of the downright awfulness of the show.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

The fact that I couldn't get the initials right just shows how little I actually care about the subject of pro wrestling and even less about its presence on Sci-Fi.

And you are several rungs above myself on the caste ladder.

and even less about its presence on Sci-Fi.
Yet you were trying to "figure out" why they show it...?

You really don't need to be interested in Wrestling to wonder why the SciFi Channel would show it.

I would say that it started going down after Paul Heyman was fired. but I have stopped watching wrestling mostly because the poor quality of wrestling on TV and also because of Benoit murdering his wife and son, but I think that is for another thread.

about frelling time the WWF got their name back (which they had been using since 1961) from the silly amateur dramatics society that people call wrestling.

I'm sure that huge crossover fan base was getting confused....I'd brag about WWE making more money than "WWF," but due to some stories about dubious corporate "contributions," it's quite possible that the panda people are up there, so to speak.
