I suppose that disappearing from the face of the earth happens to actors all of the time, but with her strength, good (but not common) looks, and especially those eyes that caught JMS attention, I'm surprised Pat had so much trouble staying employed. Hopefully this, and maybe a future TLT disk or two, will get her back where she belongs.

        Yes, when did this happen?

Also, regarding the way Pat looks...

We know that when actors are on screen they have the 'good hair' the 'good lighting' the 'good make-up' etc and, as you would expect from such a proccess, they usually look a million dollars...

Patricia Tallman is one of the few women who looks better in the flesh than on the screen, more than any other female actor I've ever met. She is stunning (imo) with Mira running a close second.

If I had to name a male actor equivalent it would be, perhaps, James (SPIKE) Masters.

I can't find the exact message in the archives anywhere, but I remember JMS saying something about Pat returning to work almost immediately after having her child. IMDB says she has a 4-year-old son and that she's still married to Jeffery Willerth (yes, that's right, Lyta married Kosh), but I don't know how recent that information is.

Pat Tallman had her child between "The Gathering" and "Divided Loyalties". She did not get married until after Babylon 5 had finished. She is still married.

That was the scenario I was figuring: She was a single-mother but had since married Jeffrey. Who was the father? Some guy named Franz?
