WoW is not the most addictive terrible thing known to man. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is. But WoW runs a close third (behind Sid's Civ).

I've got a 64 warrior running about. And far too many alts to mention.

*Raises hand sheepishly*. My husband has been playing it since it came out a few years ago. He kept bugging me to play and I kept saying I would get bored, it's not my thing, etc. etc. etc.

Then last October he loaded it on my computer "just in case I ever wanted to play". I felt sorry for the guy that he went to all that trouble so I said I'd play, just to see what all the fuss was about. He thought I would not get past level 10. Well, about 6 months later (i.e., now) I have one level 63 character and another started which is at about level 21.

Since then I haven't so much as painted or drawn a single picture. It takes me longer to get through books. Housework doesn't get done as fast. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed; I go to work, go out, do things, but I guess I am addicted because I keep going back for more and it is kinda fun.

So let that be a lesson to all you kids out there - when someone asks you "to just try it" - say NO!!!!!!!
