  • Christmas Humor from Bah & the Humbugs

This year's offering by (my band) Bah & the Humbugs, America's premier, satirical Christmas rock band(TM), is now available! Whether you've been naughty or you've been nice, "A Very Commercial Christmas" comes to you absolutely, totally, 100% free, and much earlier than anything you'll be getting from that slacker, Santa.

You may listen to the podcast via iTunes, any other podcasting software, or as a direct download from our website:

Stuff your Stocking! Why pay money for Christmas music when you can download these fun, FREE songs from Bah & the Humbugs?

All of the information you'll need to share in this seasonal Ho-Ho-Ho is right there, including a direct link for iTunes user, a link to the .rss feed, and a plain, old, ordinary .mp3 file.

This year, the Humbugs have created more than an hour of hilarious commercial parodies, all within the context of a special Christmas Eve broadcast by WCOMMERCIAL, a radio station with an all-commercial format, including spots, songs, jingles, traffic, contests, and the usual coal-in-your-stocking kind of fun fans of Bah & the Humbugs have come to expect.

The website also features a couple of excerpted bits for those who want to sample the podcast, including the runaway viral hit, "The Whining Christmas Babies." Forward it to all of your friends before they forward it to you!

Get an early start on your holidays with the Bah & the Humbugs 2006 podcast, "A Very Commercial Christmas."

    Ho Ho Ho,

    Amy

    THREAD HIJACK

This thread is now also about all things Christmas.

Thus, I present to you: The Pogues - Fairytale of New York.

Which just might be the best Christmas song ever.

    Wham! - Last Christmas

Might be the gayest Christmas song ever, at least when Wham! sung it. How anyone thought George Michael was straight astounds me. But this song is a bit of a guilty pleasure.
"I don't find myself in the same luxury as you. You grew up in freedom, and you can spit on freedom, because you don't know what it is not to have freedom." ---Ayaan Hirsi Ali

I'm a huge fan of Weird Al's, but I don't think that song is anything special. Then again, I've been specializing in humorous Christmas music for the past twenty-two years....

YouTube is for videos. We're a band. Audio, bruthah. Audio. We're on iTunes, music.download.com, myspace and we have our own website...

I mean, video is nice, but it isn't mandatory for a band...

Too right ... and it's damned expensive.

Actually, our own website, bahandthehumbugs.com is the best choice. There are excerpts there, as well as the entire podcast in an mp3 file. The myspace page is pretty bare, mainly a placeholder this year.
