Thanks, Joe. Guilty as charged (of believing a rogue comment taken out of context).

Sorry, my bad. I thought I'd read something in one of your earliest posts that seemed to imply the feminine gender... Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Don't feel bad, I thought it was a female too.

Perhaps because "Lunan" subconsciously reads like "Luanne".

ITV remake now officially a go

Today's B7 news prompted me to update the thread on this long-running saga as well ..... according to the Portmeirion Hotel's official website, the latest remake attempt is now a "definite go" for late summer 2008

THE PRISONER REMAKE FOR ITV - IT'S OFFICIAL

The Sky / AMC remake fell through in late 2007 (link), after which ITV (ack!) seem to have moved to the rescue. The seemingly endless attempts to remake the series were the subject of an Independent article last year, and Six-of-One have a page listing the last couple of years worth of attempts here.

                        Be seeing you .....

Hey thanks for the info. Some friends and I were wondering what happened to this project just this past Saturday night while having a drink after NY Comic Con.

In my view if there's no Portmeirion it's just not "The Prisoner".

It's like rebooting James Bond as the adventures of a tea lady at Pinewood Studios.

OO7 Janis Brooke Bond, Licensed To Brew Up.

She took a crash course in digestive biscuits.
Cucumber sandwiches were her special operations.
Her chip butties were to live and let fry for.
One lump or two, she's the one with the tongs of steel.
Her mission was on Her Majesty's Silver Service.
I have the wings for Bingo.
