"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

ah but think of the sex in the 70s, no care about aids and if you got an std all you needed was your basic antibiotics (syphalis aside)

            um...
            I'm 35, I was like 10 in 1980.
Think about sex I don't think I was even aware of sex at that age.

Ab Fab is pretty damn funny. It's on a list of TV shows I have to get, along with Blake's 7 (when they decide to release a Region 1 version), The Prisoner, Are You Being Served, and The Twilight Zone.

I was. But then, I'd seen Barbarella as a kid.

I liked AbFab, it was a lot of fun. But I'm sorry, there was never any such show as The New Avengers in my world.

When it comes to Avengers girls, there can be only one.

                      What about her?
With all due respect to Honor Blackman, she never did much for me as either a Bond girl or an Avenger. Diana Rigg beats her hands-down in both categories.

This week Diana Rigg has been on British tv as both a Bond Girl and as an Avenger.

Something she also shares with Honor Blackman (above).

Joe doesn't need much invitation to bust out those Diana Rigg pics.
